A Piece of History…

Grosvenor (F Reed) 01The Grosvenor Hotel has enjoyed immense popularity throughout its colourful history.  It has been a place to rest for weary travellers as well as being a very fashionable place to stay by socialites and personalities.  City hotels had set a significant standard and with Victor Harbor being a major resort town, the Grosvenor Hotel was fitted with modern conveniences (including gas lighting in 1900) to attract the wealthy.
